Krakatoa Cafe

Just when you thought the cafe posts were done. . . No!

Krakatoa
25th between B and C (Golden Hill)

Strong internet signal, 4 tables and a couch inside with 3 outlets. There are another 8 tables or so out on the patio, but there's no power there.

Linds and I took a nice little ride down here through Golden Hill and South Park (we basically took 30th from University to A St.). You could also take Florida St through the canyon, but there are more hills that way. Got here before 9am (so I might actually get something done today. . .) and now I'm avoiding looking for work. Bleh. But there's really nothing much else to say about this cafe. It's kinda small and red on the inside. We're sitting in the shadow of a giant sheet of copper hammered into the bust of an Easter Island statue. It's a little disconcerting. Having said that, I'm now noticing something of an Easter Island theme -- lots of island-y stuff. Which fits with the name Krakatoa, which is apparently a volcanic island in Indonesia. Ahh, the red walls are representative of lava. . . obviously more thought went into the decor than I initially noticed.

Ok, I'm gonna go find a job now. Wish me luck!
